Open Artist Studio Day

12 pm to 5pm

Location: Jersey Shore Arts Center

Description: Jersey Shore Arts Center Artist Studio Open House

OCEAN GROVE — The Jersey Shore Arts Center studio artists are opening their doors to the public for the first time on April 30, 2022, from 12 pm to 5 pm. Attendees can view artist studios, meet with the studio artists, see art demonstrations, and purchase artist work. While attending this first-ever event, attendees can also view performance venues, view the current art exhibition, and buy food in the 3rd Floor Café. The event is free and open to the public, and art galleries and buyers are encouraged to attend. This is a great way to get a never-before behind-the-scenes look at the artists who create and their individual spaces.

Also, in the Main Lobby from 3 pm to 5 pm on April 30, the Jersey Shore Arts Center celebrates the Studio Resident Art Exhibition participants. These participants include teachers, staff, and studio residents. April 30 will also be the last day the exhibition will be viewed in its entirety. Starting May 6, Elysia Forsyth will be installed in the Main Lobby Exhibition space, and the Seward Johnson Atelier installation of “Can Do” by sculptor, Seward Johnson, will be present in the Main Lobby starting May 1.
