A free public event with expected attendance of 75,000

The Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the 4th Annual Asbury Park Oysterfest. With over 150,000 visitors in the past and after addressing the suggestions and input from our vendors and sponsors, we have elected to expand to a full two-day event with a soft opening on Friday evening; maximizing the potential for everyone! In addition to last year’s successful introduction of the “Oyster Oasis” and the “Oyster Eating Contest”, Oysterfest 2010 also promises even more exciting and new surprises! The main stage is centrally located with two additional stages end-capping the event site for this year’s blend of original, classics, Irish, jazz and blues bands which will surely uphold the Asbury Park music tradition.

Weekend Schedule
Thursday September 9th
8am – 5pm: Tent and stages placed and set up

Friday September 10
8am-5pm Vendor Check in and Set-Up
5pm-8pm “Soft opening” Locals, Friends and Families

Saturday September 11
10am-8pm Oysterfest event

Sunday September 12
10am-5pm Oysterfest event
5pm-10pm Vendor Tear Down
