ASBURY PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
NAMES ITS CAROUSEL AWARDS HONOREES

Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce President Daniel DiBenedetto announced the Chamber’s 18th annual Carousel Awards recipients.  The Chamber of Commerce presents the Carousel Awards annually to businesses, organizations and individuals in Asbury Park in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the community. This year’s dinner will be held at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park on Wednesday, April 15.

 

Recipients are:

The Economic Development Award - ReVision Theatre, a professional regional theater company dedicated to producing invigorating theater reaching diverse communities throughout Monmouth County.

The Business Achievement Award - M Studio, a full service branding and design studio located in Asbury Park.

The Spirit of Asbury Award - The Center, a volunteer service organization made up of people of all faiths who come together in response to the growing AIDS crisis in our society.

The Landmark Business Award - The Empress Hotel, an economic anchor for Asbury’s resurgence and a successful tourism and entertainment destination. 

The Public Official Award - Asbury Park Councilman John Loffredo, an Asbury Park area native and resident, founder of the Asbury Park Homeowners Association, and a driving force in having Asbury’s downtown designated as a redevelopment zone.

A Special Achievement Award - Ken Roth for his dedication to the Chamber and volunteer efforts.
