• Representatives from
the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce will be on hand
the day of the event to direct parking for both
participants and spectators.
• Owners who are registered or would like to
register for the car show should enter the event
from Bangs Avenue & Main Street heading east,
starting at 8:00am. Registration is open between
8:00am and 12:00 noon.
• Groups of owners who want to park together should
organize themselves together and report to Bangs
Avenue & Main Street prior to 10:00am.
• Cookman Avenue will be closed off for show cars
only. Participants will be parked on a diagonal with
overflow vehicles to be parked in Press Plaza.
Volunteers will be on hand to direct traffic.
• All cars and trucks produced before 1985 are
welcome. Please, no motorcycles, bicycles or
skateboards.
• There will be free parking for spectators in the
Bangs Avenue Garage.
• Immediately following the awards presentation at
4:00pm, cars that wish to “Cruise The Circuit”
should be lined up and ready. Staff will direct you
at that time. The Asbury Park Police Department will
escort the show cars east on Cookman Avenue and turn
left on Ocean Avenue. You will then drive north and
turn left at Sunset Avenue (in front of the Berkley
Hotel). Go one block and turn left again on Kingsley
Avenue. You will then drive south until you reach
Asbury Avenue and turn left. This completes the
“Circuit.” The police department will escort the
show cars for 4 laps. After the 4 laps, any cars who
wish to continue driving can do so, however please
remember that you must follow the posted speed limit
and traffic signal signs at all times.
• There will be no burn-outs or tire spinning at our
event or you will be asked to leave.
