They would add the "G" and Charlie and Bill six months later. On the eve of the Stones' 50th birthday, Marc Ribler and his all-star group of friends celebrate this milestone at one of America's most famous rock clubs with a recreation of more than 30 of the Rolling Stones' most iconic songs, drawn from two of their biggest selling albums, Hot Rocks and Forty Licks, including hits, nuggets, deep cuts, live faves and fan faves in a dynamic two-hour show that you'll wish the Stones had performed! Fifty Licks is presented by the Asbury Park Press, the Light of Day Foundation, the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce and the Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation. Net proceeds will benefit The Asbury Angels Foundation, whose mission is "to honor and memorialize the lives and significant contributions of members of the Asbury Park musical community who have passed on, including but not limited to, musicians, songwriters, tech support persons, DJs, writers, club owners and promoters." This event will honor the first group of inductees and the date of the first dedication ceremony later this summer will be announced.

Description: Yoga on the Beach for Beginners Wednesday, July 11, 2012 6:30 PM Cliffwod Beach Aberdeen Township 828 Ocean Boulevard, Keyport, NJ (edit map) Park at the beachside lot, go to back end follow trail onto beach, we are on the left Price: $10.00/per person How many of you are like me and always wanted to try Yoga but are overweight, underflexible, or just plain worried about trying to get your body to move? Well this is a yoga class that you can call your own! My friend Abhaya has agreed to teach the same type of class that Nancy has been teaching us but is no longer available to come on Wednesdays (she will still teach the sunday class). The program works with any body no matter the size, shape or mobilty, it's excellent for those who wish to take yoga/stretch for the first time. We will learn using slow, mindful movements and positions that anyone can get into. We are going to meet at Cliffwood Beach if the weather is nice (as with any outdoor event please check in here before heading out and look for updates) We had an amazingly lovely day last week! if you use a GPS be sure to type in ocean boulevard. Cost of each class is going to be $10, payable in cash the night of. Please bring a yoga mat that you don't mind putting down on the sand or beach towel or blanket and water, also bug spray is not a bad idea either, and a citronella candle. You can check in the day of to check the weather, and please be courteous if you can't come please change your RSVP timely. I do hope many of you who have always wanted to try yoga but were afraid to like me comes and gives it a try, this has become a regular thing!
