She teaches using slow, mindful movements and positions that anyone can get into. We are going to meet at my Cliffwood Beach if the weather is nice (as with any outdoor event please check in here before heading out and look for updates) Now that hot weather is here we thought this would be better in the morning on Sundays. If you use a GPS be sure to type in Ocean Boulevard or it will take you to Union Beach by mistake. Cost of each class is going to be $10, payable in cash the night of. Please bring a yoga mat that you don't mind putting down on the sand or beach towel or blanket and water, also bug spray is not a bad idea either and or a candle, sometimes we have bugs sometimes we don't but thats the outdoors for ya. I started bringing a spritz bottle of water and an umbrella to sit under now that the sun is stronger. You can log in 2 hrs before event the day of to check the weather, and please be curteous if you can't come please change your rsvp timely. I do hope many of you who have always wanted to try yoga but were afraid to like me comes and gives it a try, this has become a regular thing! With Love, Cassie www.cassiescalendar.com Nancy: http://www.facebook.com/nancy.carlenjohnson Comments from the first event: ~this was an awesome meet up!. the yoga instructor was great, especially for a beginners group. she explained everything as we went along and let us progress at our own speed. i never felt like i had to "keep up". the beach was a great place to do this, very pleasant and serene hope we do it again soon.~ ~I enjoyed it, although it did push my physical limits. I would probably do it again. The instructor was great.~ ~I feel so....Zen. Still trying to keep my abs active and my shoulders back and down. Nancy did a wonderful job of explaning everything. I liked how she gave alternatives for positions so that everyone in the group could participate. This was my very first yoga session, and I enjoyed it tremendously~
