Location: Erie Park in Montclair

Description: The 2012 Equality Walk is next Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 4:00 pm starting at Erie Park in Montclair. With your help, we shall override the Governor's veto of the marriage equality bill that the legislature passed earlier this year. Proceeds from the 2012 Equality Walk will go to Garden State Equality's marriage equality campaign. Please register for the 2012 Equality Walk now at www.GardenStateEquality.org to donate online with or without walking... or to sponsor another walker... or to join a team of walkers... or to form your own team of walkers... or to walk without a team. Several fantastic public officials will join us on the walk, which will make it even more fun. The walk will end at Egan's Pub, where the first round of appetizers for all walkers will be on us... and where we will hold our annual Pub Quiz. We promise you'll have a blast. And remember, you don't have to physically join us to donate to the 2012 Equality Walk online. To donate to the 2012 Equality Walk with or without walking, visit www.GardenStateEquality.org Thank you so much - and onward and upward to marriage equality!

Walking and Talking

6/23/2012

Location: Sissy's At The Harbor-Atlantic Highlands

Description: Ok folks I am past due on scheduling us another walking and talking event so I am making up for it by scheduling one with an amazing view! We are going to meet outside of Sissy's at the Harbour and head down the costal path that snakes behind the tennis courts, past all the lovely seaside mansions, and then down the coast towards Sandy Hook. I am told its about 2 miles (not sure if she meant one way or total but we can do this easy) and there are restrooms at the end, there are also some at the start too. We will go at a very moderate pace and no worries what ever speed you are people will walk with you and we all meet up at the end! Well behaved pets and children are welcome. Afterwards those who wish can grab a bite to eat at Sissy's for lunch before heading home. I am trying to find a picture for you to identify the place but I got scared at what came up when I typed in Sissy's! Yikes! If you don't see us, text me.... Hope you can make it! Love, Cassie www.cassiescalendar.com 10:00am Sissy's At The Harbor 8 Simon Lake Dr, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716-1259
