Memorial Day Parade and Picnic

Description: I thought I'd like to celebrate Memorial Day this year like I did last year and like I always did growing up.....by going to a good old fashioned home town parade and then having a picnic at my house afterwards! Who wants to join me? Here's the plan: We meet in front of the Muncipal Building at 70 West Front Street at 12:30pm, I am bringing a chair, the parade starts at 1pm. I suggest parking in the lot next to Ye Old Cottage Inn and walking up here. There's a photo of the building here: http://keyportonline.com/ along with parade info, and its the shady side of the street too! Well behaved kids and pets are welcome. Once the parade is over we can linger about in town and take a walk down by the water and then head over to my house about 3pm for a picnic. I have a nice shady backyard, my gas grill died but we put chaorchol in it so we can cook that way and theres also a fire pit where we can make some hot dogs. Please show up with table ware of your own to use (I am really encouraging non-disposble more than ever), your own beverages in a cooler and a dish or dessert to share. My rental is small so the only thing indoors I can provide for your use is the bathroom, everything else come with the attidude that you are going to a park. Please post what you are bringing as soon as you decide to avoid too much duplication. Bad weather of course canels, I will update that morning on how it is down here so check in before you head down. Hope to see you then!
