Asbury Park Mardi Gras Free Mask Making

Location: Backward Glances, 658 Cookman Ave.

Description: Pick up your free, undecorated mask at Backward Glances, inside the Shoppes at the Arcade, 658 Cookman Avenue between 12:00pm - 4:00pm. Then visit participating businesses downtown to get free decorations to apply to your mask. Tables with glue will be set up at the Shoppes at the Arcade to design your own special Mardi Gras creation. Enter to win best mask and win fantastic prizes from the merchants of Asbury Park.

Asbury Park Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball

Description: The 4th Annual Masquerade Ball, starring the VooDUDES with special guest, from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. King and Queen of the Ball will be crowned in the costume contest, so plan your outfit to win the crown and wonderful prizes from the merchants of Asbury Park. $15 advance/$20 day of show. Tickets on sale at Backward Glances, the Saint, or on Ticketweb.

This all-star lineup will make it a night you will never forget! Marc Ribler and Friends will recreate the music of George Harrison and the Beatles with spot-on accuracy and attention to detail!
Marc Ribler: Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter, Producer, is currently Musical Director for Stevie Van Zandt's "Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul". Marc is a legend in his own right and has performed with Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Darlene Love, Ian Anderson, Roger McGuinn, Carole King, Rick Springfield, Peter Wolf, Southside Johnny, Steve Forbert , Gary US Bonds, Lulu, Rick Nielsen "Cheap Trick" and many others. He has written and produced over 40 songs for major label recording artists throughout the world. His songs have charted in Billboard's Hot 100 and The American Top 40 Kasey Casem Count Down. He has also had Top 10 hits internationally. Marc also writes, sings and produces for film, national television and radio.
