200th anniversary of the birth of the great Charles Dickens

Description: Commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Charles Dickens. At 2 PM a 50 minute video Biography of Mr. Dickens. And at 3 PM we will screen the 1935 MGM (B&W, 130 min.) classic David Copperfield with Freddie Bartholomew, W.C. Fields, Edna Mae Oliver, and a host of other rather Dickensian actors of the time. There is no admission charge, but any and all donations by check (made out to the Asbury Park Historical Society) or in cash will go to help restore Asbury Park's Rainbow Room sign
